First thoughts:
I bought this game a couple of days ago. I love it. It's very addictive (which is a trait that has gone through the series). It has very nice cars, it combines the best part of RPG's (the levelling and strengthening of your character (or car in this case)) with the action of a racing game. It's still a very short game though.
Gameplay:
Very fun gameplay. It has fast cars, which you can tune up so it becomes even faster. There is a wide variety of race types (outrun, sprint, curcuit, hgihway battle, escape, etc). The highway chases are really fun to do. There are things to do like; steal cars and escape the cops then bring it to this guy. The gameplay is what brings this away from every other racing game. The freeroam, The cop chases, the freedom of the game. This is what makes Need for Speed, Need for Speed. Definately worth getting. I give the gameplay a 85/100.
Graphics:
While the graphics are nice, the Anti Aliasing is horrible. Even on the highest settings for AA. If you can get past that, everything else is nice looking. The road has lot's of detail. There are really ncie light effects. even has detail. But the AA really distracts you from this. I give the graphics a 51/100
Atmosphere:
Not much atmosphere at all really.
10/100
Online:
The online is more or less like prostreet. No freeroam, no cop chases. Just racing. But it's online so it's pretty cool. 50/100
Extras:
Nothing extra about the game. The game is just on it's own. No achievments, no unlockables, just do this race. Win this car, and that's it. 0/100
Overall:
It's a pretty cool game. Worth getting if you're a racing game fan. 39/100

Update.
Been a while since I made a post. Lol. But there is a good reason for that. I bought a couple more games. Call of Duty 4, Assassains Creed, Need for Speed: Uncercover and Oblivion. I love them all. I will be reviewing these when I get to them. I will be writing my next review now. So expect a new review in about an hour. Also I read a review on Diablo 3 and this has got me excited about it. I also watched a couple of gameplay videos. Can't wait to get it. Starcraft 2 looks kind of cool aswell though I'm not that big of a fan of RTS (weird for a PC fan I know).

Review 2: Team Fortress 2
First thoughts:
Well because I lurk on 4chan and everyone goes on about how awesome tf2 (literally everyone on the internet who has it (minus a few people) always say how awesome this game is) is. When I finally got it. I opened the file, and I was seriously saying to myself "holy crap I finally get to play tf2, awesome, holy crap." and it met my expectations, perhaps surpassed them. The first map I played on was 2fort and I played as a Scout. I got owned naturally. But I still had loads of fun. I am really happy with this game and will be until it stops being played (which will be never).
Gameplay:
What words can I use to express the awesomeness of tf2? I really like the humor, the Heavy's personality is hilarious ("OM NOM NOM OM NOM") as are many other aspects of the game. The cartoony art style really fits with the chaotic gameplay and the crazy world. All of the classes have a specific job to do. If you went running into their base as a sniper you may as well have killed yourself. Teamwork is an essential aspect of winning the round. You can't be a lone ranger and take every control point yourself. You need certain people to get the control point and certain people to go up there and defend it. Same as you will need certain people to get rid of the defences. Like a Scout and a Pyro should take the control point. Whilst a Heavy and an Engineer should defend it. A Sniper and a Soldier perhaps a spy if there are sentries should destroy their defences. I give the gameplay a 100/100.
Graphics:
I love the bold and cartoony art style. As I have already said; it definitely fits with the gameplay. I can't imagine the game without the quirky and fun art style. It is one of the games greatest assets. I think many people are attracted to the game because of it. There isn't much else to say about it really. Other than it is really colourful. I give the graphics a 95/100
Atmosphere:
The Atmosphere is almost non existent. But then perhaps I haven't noticed it from having too much fun. Anyway since I don't know about it, I have nothing to say on it. I give it a 0/100.
Online:
It's all online, and since that is all there is too the game, it gets the same score as Gameplay 100/100.
Extras:
Just like Left 4 Dead; It has Achievements and Developer Commentary. There is over 100 Achievements to get, they are generally pretty funny. Like for the Pyro. One Achievement is too get someone to leave a server after dominating them. I give the Extra's a 80/100.
Overall:
It's a great game and I would really recommend it. It is totally worth the money. I would spend more on it. It's that good. 100/100 normally I would say the average of the previous scores. But this game deserves 100.

The Games for Windows Live Update.
I went on Fallout 3 today to find an update for Games for Windows Live update. It includes a marketplace type thing for PC users. This has extreme potential and hopefully brings more games onto the Games for Windows Live. I'm disappointed that you can't chat with friends while on there though. Two demo's have arrived to the marketplace via the update. They are; Kane and Lynch: Dead Men and Quantum of Solace. I downloaded and played them both. Quantum of Solace is amazing, whereas Kane and Lynch is okay. I am hoping for something like the XBLA for this. With games such as Castle Crashers and so on. That would be awesome. I don't want to buy a 360 because I detest using controllers for my games. Anyway I'm happy with this update, and it has a lot of potential to bring in many more PC gamers. I can't wait for more to come.
Review 1: Left 4 Dead
First thoughts:
Left 4 Dead is one heck of a game, it's so fun to have hundreds of zombies rush at you at once and mowing them down. Punching and shooting your way out of a sticky situation. It's not as scary as they probably intended it to be though... well not scary at all actually. I really enjoyed it, the achievements are fun to try and get. Like "Hunter Punter" I laughed when I got that achievement. The graphics are pretty nice, some of the best graphics I have seen from Valve. Although I really do like TF2's graphics style. All in all for first impressions it has some good graphics, great gameplay and is overall a good game.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is very fun and action packed. When you are being attacked by a horde of infected it is intense, if they get too close you either have to shoot rapidly (big problem for people with the ordinary shotgun) or knock them away and shoot them, which is slower. When there is no infected around. You are fearing for another onslaught, or for a hidden hunter/boomer/smoker/tank that will attack you unsuspectingly. Two playthroughs are never the same, because the amount of infected that are spawned is dependant on how well you are playing. If you aren't playing too well there will be fewer infected to get you back on your feet and give you a rest, if you are doing excellently they try to tire you out by spawning more infected, so the game tries to keep a neutral difficulty based on the difficulty you chose. For the gameplay I give a 90/100.
Graphics:
The Graphics are of a bleak and dark style. Everything is darker than it should be. Light sources are from strange places such as car lights and lamp posts. Giving a feeling as though nothing is as it should be. The infected are detailed in both expression and general detail such as the way they are animated and shaded. They have such diversity in clothing that everyone is an individual. It's rare to see two infected that look alike. But even then you don't notice because you're busy killing them before they kill you. The cars are also unique. There is about 7 different car types each with different colours, like all of the colours that are possible to get on the computer screen at the moment. The environments are well detailed too. The different models and textures for the environment are diverse for each map/location. For the graphics I give it a score of 78/100.
Atmosphere:
The Atmosphere is really helped by the occasional draught of infected and the random soundtrack. Th soundtrack is made almost entirely of 1 scale so it all fits. Although there is the odd atonal note to give the sense of confusion. The soundtrack isn't based around what you and the others around you (in online play) are experiencing. But what you and only you are experiencing, if you are ahead of the others and there is a draught of infected you are constantly expecting some to come out or a big group to rush you. So you get personal music accordingly. The atmosphere is really good and is a big reason why this game is so fun to play. I give it a 100/100
Online:
Online is the biggest part of this game, it's just not the same with bots as it is with 3 other friends, although every now and then the servers shut down, and there is a lot of stop lag. Which can get annoying when the other survivors are running off without you. Online is great but some major issues, I give a 60/100.
Extra's:
There isn't much extra on to this game, there is only the Developer commentary and the achievements but they give a lot of replay value to the game. Not much but is still pretty good I give a 30/100
Overall:
It's a great game, and I definitely recommend it to people looking for a fun game with Lot's of replay value. I give the game a 72/100.

Introduction
I am a boy of 14 with quite a lot of time on my hands. So I play games, PC games to be precise. Mostly because the PC has always appealed to me. I don't like having only the choice of just a game or a movie. The PC gives me more choice of what to do. I can play a game if I feel like it. I can watch a movie if I want. I can chat with friends if like. I can browse the depths of the Internet if that is what catches my fancy. I can make a piece of art if I am feeling creative. There are so many options for the PC. But not only that the gaming aspect is much improved as well. But I'm straying for my original intentions. I have a lot of spare time and so I have decided to start up a blog for PC game reviews. It will be updated when I feel like it. (which should be about once a week) Until I have done all the games I own presently. The order I do my games will not be chronological or in any order to be honest. I don't games that often but for now I have quite a few that I can review. If you want me to review a game that I don't have you will have to donate the appropriate amount of money to me. I have the following games:
Audiosurf
Bioshock
Condition Zero
Condition Zero Deleted Scenes
Counter-Strike
Counter-Strike: Source
Day of Defeat
Day of Defeat: Source
Deathmatch Classic
Deus Ex
Fallout 3

Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast

Half-Life: Blue Shift
Half-Life: Source

Wow I have a fair amount of games there... Never really had it put into perspective like this... Anyway. My paypal (and email obviously) is tomster785@hotmail.co.uk thank you if you do donate.
I detest pirating so don't even attempt to give that as an option. It's illegal and it's the death of PC gaming.
My first review will be Left 4 Dead.
